Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has proposed a trial date of March 4, 2024 for 45th President Donald Trump and the 18 other indicted alleged co-defendants. Super Tuesday is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5th. This date would also be about a week before the Georgia GOP Presidential primary which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12th.

Counsel for the National Legal and Policy Center says this will take much longer to sort out.

“I can’t see [this case] happening even before the election,” Kamenar told One America News.

For example, Willis brought forth RICO charges against rapper Young Thug. Jury selection began in January and is still ongoing seven months later.

“I think [Willis] bit off more than they could do here trying to file this RICO action,” said Kamenar.

In addition, Willis proposes the arraignment for the co-defendants take place the “week of September 5, 2023.”
