3 Dead, Several Injured In Arkansas Shooting

Three people have died and several others have been wounded in a shooting in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Early Sunday morning, a shooting reportedly broke out at a private party in Jonesboro where three people later passed away, including the assailant. Additionally, five others were injured in the incident.

At around five in the morning on Sunday, Jonesboro police posted on Facebook saying that they had discovered several gunshot victims when they arrived at the scene, which was “close to the city’s downtown.”

The police also said that the two victims were a man and a woman who were “acquaintances of the gunman.” The shooter later passed away as well.

Three additional unidentified individuals who were unrelated to the gunman had sustained injuries and were quickly brought to the hospital.

No information has been released by the police regarding the individuals who were transported to the hospital or what may have prompted the abrupt shooting.

Authorities have stated that an investigation is still underway.
