Supreme Court Rules 9-0 That Trump Can’t Be Removed From Colorado Ballot

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously on Monday that former President Donald Trump couldn’t be removed from the 2024 primary ballot in Colorado.

The case revolved around the issue of whether Trump could be removed from the ballot by the state under the “insurrection” clause of the 14th Amendment.

“We conclude that States may disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 with respect to federal offices, especially the Presidency,” the Court wrote in its decision according to Fox News.
