Representative Jared Moskowitz urged Congress members to endorse the resolution to censure Representative Rashida Tlaib for her reluctance to retract a post that claims Israel was the culprit behind a Gaza hospital bombing and since she spoke at an anti-Zionism protest at the U.S. Capitol, which quickly turned into an insurrection.

“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” Tlaib wrote, directly following the news of an explosion at a hospital in Gaza.
Tlaib (D-MI) has subsequently maintained her position of blaming Israel for fighting back against the Islamic terrorist group, Hamas. The congresswoman herself is also both Palestinian and Muslim, at least according to her personal X (Twitter) account bio.
“I think once we get a House speaker here, I think that censure resolution will come to the floor. And I do think it’s something that everyone should consider,” Moskowitz (D-Fla.) told Fox News.
It was later discovered that the explosion actually occurred in the parking lot of the hospital, and the reported number of causalities was highly inflated by Palestinian officials.
Palestinian officials also initially claimed that Israel was to blame for the explosion, however, after the IDF released audio proof of Hamas members discussing the incident and after Shin Bet intelligence officials showed a mountain of other evidence to world leaders, including President Biden, proving that Hamas and members of the Islamic Jihad had numerous rocket misfires, many news outlets like The New York Times quickly retracted their faulty headlines blaming Israel.
Hamas had even previously warned Israeli officials of the barrage of rockets that were coming minutes prior to the misfire that struck the Gaza hospital parking lot.
However, that did not stop pro-Palestine and anti-Zionist activists from re-posting the false narrative originally reported by a number of outlets, and they continued to blame Israel’s military and the nation as a whole.
National Security spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said on October 18th that while the agency collects information, the “current assessment, based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts, and open-source information, is that Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday.”
However, Tlaib, who has historically condemned “conspiracy theorists” that do not follow the government’s narrative, has decided to take on a new conspiratorial position by not trusting information reported by U.S. intelligence officials or President Biden himself.
Tlaib even kept the X (Twitter) post up where she blames Israel for the hospital bombing.
“I continue to be disappointed in members of Congress who are not willing to listen to U.S. intelligence and listen to the Biden administration, who have said Israel had nothing to do with the issue that happened in the parking lot of the hospital,” Moskowitz said.
“Let’s remember, the hospital wasn’t hit. The hospital’s still there. It’s the parking lot of the hospital — that was the first lie that was told,” he explained. “The second lie that was told was that over 500 people died there. There’s no proof of that.”
“And the third lie that was told was that it was Israel. All of those things have turned out to be inaccurate,” the congressman continuied. “U.S. intelligence is saying that. Any member of Congress who continues to trust Hamas’s information over U.S. information is obviously deeply concerning.”
However, Tlaib still released a statement on her website essentially doubling down and sticking to her original opinion.
“Both the Israeli and United States governments have long, documented histories of misleading the public about wars and war crimes,” she said.
