The White House has released a report detailing the cost American taxpayers would face if the “top policies” of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) were adopted.

Released Thursday, the report titled “The Real Cost of Socialism in America” details President Donald Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers’ (CEA) findings about the “scathing reality” of the DSA’s platform.

“The Democrat Social Agenda would cost Americans TRILLIONS of Dollars if they were elected to Office. America as we know it would be completely destroyed, and make us a Third World Country. We can’t let that happen. VOTE REPUBLICAN!” Trump asserted on Truth Social Friday night.

The 92-page filing examines the effects of eight policies pushed by DSA candidates ahead of the November midterm elections:

  1. Student debt cancellation and free college tuition;
  2. Open borders and mass amnesty for illegal aliens;
  3. Abolishing the police — including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) — and the prison system;
  4. Government-run Medicare for All;
  5. Universal rent control;
  6. The Green New Deal;
  7. A 32-hour workweek;
  8. Wealth taxes.

“Make no mistake, these are the Democrats’ policies. They want to destroy our great, hard-fought nation, and plummet our economy and the very fabric of our nation into the ground,” the White House stressed in a news release.

The council found that these policies could induce “double-digit inflation” that could reach up to 160% in 10 years.

American families — who are already struggling to afford even starter homes — could also see double-digit interest rates on loans and mortgages.

The council warned of “huge tax hikes, cutting hardworking Americans’ paychecks by almost 30%.”

“Millions of Americans’ jobs will be lost, high unemployment, and less pay for the same work,” the White House stated.

The CEA explained in its executive summary that seven of the eight DSA pillars (excluding abolishing current law enforcement) could be examined in light of the federal government’s budget.

“The net fiscal burden of the seven programs that can be scored against the federal budget would total more than $49 trillion over ten years, which would be financed either by debt or by tax increases on the American people,” the report read. “This amounts to approximately $355,000 per American household.”

It added, “Debt financing the net $49 trillion fiscal burden would risk a sovereign debt and monetary crisis.

The council also asserted that the DSA’s objective of “constrain, diminish, and abolish the carceral forces of the state” would “increase crime and reduce the safety of communities across America.”

For more specific examples, 1,000 additional crimes per 100,000 people a year is associated with the following issues, the CEA warned:

  • A 110-day decrease in average life expectancy;
  • 173 more deaths per 100,000 if the additional crime is violent;
  • 730 more children in poverty per 100,000 children between five and 17 years old;
  • 1,430 to 1,640 fewer children out-earning their parents per 100,000 children.

Given the potentially disastrous results of the opposition’s priorities, the White House highlighted the Trump administration’s accomplishments in the 20 months since Trump took office for his second term.

The White House touched on Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts, doubling of the enhanced Child Tax Credit, and striking taxes on overtime, Social Security and tips, which “saved millions of working Americans over $82 billion.” It also stressed that the American economy has added tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs and increased “manufacturing wages by more than $3,000.”

It also touted Trump’s “never-before-seen drop in violent crime” and a 10-year high in the supply of homes for sale, bringing housing industry costs down.

“Only under President Trump is this reversal possible, and there’s much more to come,” the White House concluded.
