Vice President Kamala Harris is headed to her home state for a Democrat fundraiser ahead of the midterms.

Reportedly, Harris will be in Los Angeles on Monday. There, she will headline an event for the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund. The group raises money for the Democrat National Committee (DNC) and for state parties.

The event is being hosted by Liz Hirsh Naftali. Last year, Naftali was appointed to the United States Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad by Joe Biden.

Harris has notably headlined several fundraisers in the run-up to the midterms despite her neglecting her role to address the southern border crisis and other issues.
