Yet another military aid package being sent to Ukraine is in the works. According to reports on Friday, the Pentagon approved $775 million shipment worth of weapons and other military equipment to be sent to the country.

This shipment will include a new round of howitzers, drones and missile systems. In addition, it will have a slew of new defense systems including mine-resistant ambush protected vehicles.

The DOD (Department of Defense) reportedly claimed that sending a steady stream of weapons and ammo to Ukraine will help troops make gains against Russian forces. Reports also mentioned that this shipment puts the amount of aid that the US has sent to Ukraine over $10.5 billion. This comes as the six-month mark of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is approaching.
