The affidavit detailing the reasons behind the search of President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home will stay sealed for at least another week.

On Thursday, Judge Bruce Reinhart decided to unseal some of the documents behind the search. This ruling gives the Justice Department seven days to redact the detailed document in a way that would not undermine its ongoing investigation if made public.

Reinhart announced that he will make a decision next Thursday after reviewing the requested redactions from the DOJ. The DOJ opposes the release of the affidavit.
